Finally a do it all place – I am a body, gearhead and electronics buff, and most often very reluctant in allowing anyone else to work on my rides. however, a few minutes conversation with the knowledgeable folks at A-Z and i was convinced i had found the right place. I have since had body, electronic, and engine work done, all with great results. Great work, No Hassles – I had heard good things for years from peeps in my nabe, but had never had the bad fortune of requiring their services. Then recently I suddenly did need some autobody work after a Boston traffic stupidity occured. I interviewed both Lee and "Roy" before giving them my car and was given good vibes on both occasions. i'm glad i trusted the reviews! – i always do research online before bringing my car in (i've been ripped off too many times in the past). so i had a rough estimate from a few places on how much it would cost to fix my brakes and turn signal. the guys at a-z treated me with complete respect, were quick and efficient, and gave me a price lower than any other place i had researched. seriously, a-z, it's really nice to know that there are still honest people out there who do good work!
Great work; honest – Since moving to Boston, I've had a tough time finding a mechanic that I wasn't convinced was trying to rob me blind with add-on costs. After being quoted a huge price for simple repairs at a prominent auto center chain, I brought my car into A-Z in Cambridge and Rui honestly explained everything my car needed done. Excellent service – Brought my car in with electrical problems and they fixed it in less than an hour. Saved me a $92 diagnostic fee at the dealership. Great customer service. Ended up costing less than estimate. Next time I need my car serviced I'm bringing it back to them.
Better service and cost than a dealership service station – My Audi needed a 40,000 mile service and something was wrong with the steering. I brought it to a-z because I was tired of the huge service fees and slow service at the dealerships. I paid a fraction of the price for the 40,000 mile service and they did a terrific job. It also ended up that my steering-rack and tie rods were shot. Something else wrong? – I know they have great reviews actually replacing my old 1 w/ this. Had a great experience once went back 2 get parts of my fan belt replaced & they talked me into doing body work from an old accident that I didnt need fixed w/ my student budget & junk car but said itd be cheap. Nope. Also talked me into shocks 2 fix a shaking problem that I said happens when my alignment and tires are unbalanced. He disagreed-shocks r 2 blame.
