Just got back from taking 6 Brownies on a trail hike with A Walk in the Woods. Bryce and Deb were amazing leaders. We learned so much history about the early settlers in the Mountains, were able to taste and smell edible plants and see wildlife! It was an excellent experience and I would recommend anyone wanting to get more out of their hike to go with A Walk in the Woods!
I hiked Mount LeConte with my guide, Jen last week. She was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I was too intimidated to do this hike alone. I'm so glad I went with A Walk In the Woods. We had a great hike. We had a nice lunch at the top. Jen even brought some home made sassafras tea to sample. It was really good. I learned so much more than I expected! Really enjoyed the day.
