We had such an amazing experience with A Walk in the Woods. Our guide was Mike and he was nothing short of amazing. He taught us hiking and nature etiquette, he was educated on all the different types of plants, animals and the history of the mountains. He was patient and gave us time to check things out on our own. He even was a great photographer for us and caught our quick proposal. We had a great time on the Children’s Nature Hike with Sam. She was very knowledgeable and patient with our kids questions (and SALAMANDERS!). We are already planning our trip back to the mountains. A Walk In The Woods will definitely be a must every time we visit the Great Smokey Mountains!!

We took the Hidden Waterfall hike with Mike as our guide today and we had an absolutely amazing time! He stopped and showed us all kinds of fun things along the trail and we learned so much. We will definitely make this part of our GSM trips in the future!
