As a 74 year old male I was starting to have issues with both my sciatic nerve and knee. David developed a series of exercises which have brought wonderful relief. I no longer limp after sitting in a hard chair for an hour. Thanks David, I really appreciate your work with me.
My husband, Pug Mabry began his therapy in March 2018 to build up strength in his legs as well as upper strength. I am so thankful we were referred to this place. David Smelser, his therapist, has been instrumental in keeping Pug walking. Its actually a miracle that he is still walking as his knees are bone to bone. A Step Ahead is an outstanding P.T. facility where I have been a patient since March. My therapist David is excellent! Just today in our first vestibular session, he made me almost “normal” again! Thank you David, I owe you a lot!
I've been so impressed with A Step Ahead Physical Therapy. I learned of them through a women's wellness lecture series I attended. I'm so glad I found them. I have tried a few physical therapy locations since moving to the area several years ago. I feel so fortunate to have found A Step Ahead for my back and leg pain. David Smelser was wonderful and very knowledgeable in treating my pain. He worked with me one-on-one and made sure I did the exercises properly to benefit a quicker recovery .
