I was indeed, very fortunate to gain a consultation with Prof. Amal Abou Hamden re a herniated disc compressing the descending and exiting nerves L4 / L5 in the lumbar region. Prof Amal carefully explained the nature of the problem after ordering an MRI of the lumbar spine. Now the team led by the amazing Melina, are also kind, generous and caring with their time and ensure each of us has everything we need. I am blessed to have such a wonderful team there for me when I need them.
You wouldn’t expect a Pterional Craniotomy for 2 aneurysms to be a pleasant experience, but it was every bit of that and more. From the very first phone call, through to all the appointments, tests and surgery, I was made to feel important as an individual and I was well cared for and respected for my personal medical choices. The surgery went extremely well, and Doctor Amal did an excellent job. The procedure was done perfectly, and I was quite delighted with the quick recovery. Doctor Amal ensured that she performed everything right to resolve my problem.
