Thank you, thank you ,thank you! I posted that I needed a certain yard of fabric for a quilt. You came to the rescue. I placed my order and it went In the mail that night. A few days later and what is in my mail box? Yes the fabric!
If A Nimble Thimble no longer existed in my life I think I would have to move to fill the fun void! I'm not a quilter, but if I were this shop would be a little slice of heaven. I am, however, a rug hooker and this is most definitely my little slice of heaven! But the owner, Katie Hartner, is what truly makes this shop so special. She knows her customers and she knows her product, and that makes your Nimble Thimble experience magical!

A beautiful store with friendly staff! I was just passing through the city and saw the store. Had to stop and glad I did!
Really enjoyed my visit! The staff was really sweet. When I walked in she asked if I had ever been to the store and when I said no, she gave me a tour and explained all the sales that were going on. They left me to shop as long as I wanted and checked on me periodically to see if I needed help then left me to my shopping. Most shops don't even tell you anything. They had great prices and awesome sales going on.
I love this store. I don't even quilt but I always have to stop there because they have so much more than just quilting stuff. And everyone there is so sweet. They also carry some of the overdyed threads which I love for stitching. Tons of beautiful wool fabrics and adorable kits and how to books.
Just wanted to thank Katie for all the GREAT help this morning. I had a problem with my sewing machine that I had been dealing with for 2 + weeks. I couldn't get any knowledgeable help to fix the problem. I brought my machine into the store this morning and she stopped what she was doing and fixed my machine in 5 minutes! She also took the time to adjust the bobbin carrier. The part that I needed was not a stock item but bless her heart she took one from a new machine and I was on my way home.
