Unfortunately, I have found that A & J lacks quite a bit of understanding of the laws of rental property in California and doesn't do a good job of enforcing lease agreements with tenants. A & J allows tenants to do things that are stated in the lease agreement as not being allowed. I think that A & J should do more "management". There is too much of a hands-off approach. I really enjoyed renting through A&J. My maintance calls were always answered quickly & directly by the property handyman. Applying and getting approved was a breeze (Thanks Erica) and my entire time living there was pleasant. Affordable property in a cute neighborhood, and when I left I was able to transfer my lease over to a friend. I would highly recommend A&J
