As our waiter said, it's a great "dinner and a show." Seated outside on a Saturday night you get to see all the diversity and flair that South Beach had to offer while enjoying a great meal to boot. Great place to stop by while in the area.

Food on Ocean Drive is generally pretty unremarkable and the hawkers trying to drag you into their mediocre restaurants make me want to carry a gun. 'Avalon' is an oasis of quality and service among them. It's not the best in the world, but it's the best on Ocean Drive by a long way.
