I love this place! Excellent service and delicious, thoughtfully prepared food, as well as a nice wine list and tasty cocktails. A nice bonus is the live music that is usually just the right volume to enjoy while still carrying on dinner conversation. It is an oasis of elegance amid the craziness of South Beach! Definitely sit outside to people watch and enjoy the beautiful Miami weather.

We then moved on to soup, Lobster bisque it was ok. Our Entree was a Shrimp scampi it was not your traditional one a very different kind than we are used to ..But oh so good. Incredible and fresh seafood with a romantic setting, filled with friendly waitstaff, and an overall amazing experience. This restaurant will also forever be a very special place for me - My boyfriend (now fiancée) proposed last night to me at this restaurant, and I could not have been happier that he did it at A Fish Called Avalon. I can’t wait to come back to this spot for our anniversary!!
