Response to this business' response – Ms. Liddle's comments below are entirely off-base. She continues to lie and even contradicts herself in each communication. What could have been a simple matter has been blown out of proportion and is doing more damage to her business than a partial refund of a $174 charge could ever do. The fact is that in all the slanderous things you've said here and elsewhere, you've never complained about the quality of the haircuts nor have you provided any credible evidence that your dogs were injured in any way or that you were treated unprofessionally. Friendly Staff and Quality Service – I was referred to A Cut Above Grooming and was very happy with my experience. The staff is friendly and the prices are very reasonable for the quality service. Like most pet owners it's important to leave your dog in trusted hands and I felt very comfortable here.
Great Place for doggie baths – Ming works at listening to what the client wants and is wonderful to my three pups. She has knowledge of breeds and is willing to work on any age pup. The 69th street store is my favorite because of the windows and the short stairs to go down to the shop. She is careful about selecting who works for her, and their professionalism and love of my pack show.
Best Groomers – When we first got our Tibetan Terrier, Oscar we called a local groomer in Westchester and asked if they had experience with the breed. They said they did so we expected good results. Boy were we wrong! After asking a tibetan terrier breeder in NJ and another fellow TT owner where they recommend, both said, A Cut Above. One trip and we were hooked!! Best pet grooming – The groomers at A Cut Above clearly love dogs, and treat them with loving care, respect, and attention. Everything is visible, so you know they are confident about what they do. Ming is lovely and makes a point of getting to know her canine *and* human clientele. And the free brush-out service in between cuts is an added bonus that builds cutomer loyalty and dog happiness.
NOT JUST FOR DOGS! – A Cut Above does a great job grooming cats too! Hershey has been a client for the past 4 years. The staff is nurturing and attentive. I know she's in good hands when I drop her off.
A Cut Above lives up to it's name! – When I got there at 8:30, Jose helped me. He was quite informative and seemed to care about my dog, Dharma, and her needs. He was very focused. Adrian did the brush out and drying. He was careful and kind to my dog, which is important to me. I'll definitely use him again. Nestor did the haircut. He was excellent.
