Amazing work and great communication! We recently used A Cut Above for our siding remodel. We had EIFS siding, so it was a complete removal of that and new application of a cedar shingles. The house looks amazing, thanks in no small part to their attention to design details. Also, A Cut Above was there communicating every step of the way-answering questions and concerns thoroughly and immediately. We would recommend them to anyone considering new siding!
Everyone with A Cut Above is extremely friendly and helpful. Our condo HOA was dealing with a construction defect lawsuit and the bid from our eventual project manager, Chad, was competitive and very comprehensive, so we were always informed. The work done was amazing and our units are better than new! Great job as promised – I knew I had to go with this company when I called them on Sunday morning at 0700 to confirm my appointment, and a live person answered the phone. All they guys I worked with were professional and polite. The job was done as promised and is beautiful - I had half of the siding replaced on my house and garage. I would certainly recommend this company.

Excellent Source for Siding, Window, & Door Replacement – We hired A Cut Above Exteriors to replace our siding, windows, doors, and install brick on the front of our 1970’s one-level home. During the bid it was suggested that we enlarge the size of our bedroom windows to give the home an updated look and I am so glad we did. Good for replacing, not for installing – No job is too small. At first we were very happy with the staff, including the salesman, project manager, and installers. However, some details (both major and minor) were overlooked during the course of the project that we feel a competent and professional contractor would not overlook. Best windows and residing company – After reading the negative review of A Cut Above Exteriors I felt compelled to write a review of this company after just hiring them to install new Andersen windows, install Hardiplank siding and paint my NE Portland bungalow. The experience? In one word: AWESOME. The products are great and the personnel even better. Steer Clear – My wife and I agree that this was the worst experience that we have ever had working with any kind of vendor. Lack of communication, poor/delayed scheduling, lack of commitment, chronic rework and revisits and needing to complete the work yourself were just the low-lights of the experience. Their highly acclaimed installation and customer service standards left a lot to be desired. But, they have a very snappy billing department if you find that a plus.
