After a few calls about my door not working correctly, i decided to give A1 a try. The young lady who took my call was very nice. She told me about the free service call with a repair. Told me the technician would do a full inspection so i would know what was wrong. She sent Dennis. I was so impressed by him! He answered all my questions and was very polite and patient with me. Called for service regarding my door not opening. The technician they sent was very knowledgeable and found that the spring had broken. Fixed the problem and gave us a tuneup on everything. Total bill was under $200! Thank you Paul!
When I called to request service the woman on the phone told me it was $45/ea for the springs and $125 for the service call. A total of $215. There is a charge of $50 for the service call that will be waved if I get the repair. When the repair guy arrived he said that he did not have my size spring on the truck the ones he had were $85/ea. Now the total is $295. If I did not go with the repair it would have cost me $50 for the service call estimate. I had to get my car out of the garage to get to work so I had it done. Garage door broke yesterday and the tech, Jim, was out today and had it fixed before I got home from work. I'm very impressed. New springs, cables, and rollers and the door is so quiet and smooth now. A+ for sure.
Called A-1 to replace our springs. They sent out a technician with in the designated time frame. Prequoted us out on a few options. We choose their lifetime warranty spring. They also gave us a tune-up on the door and the opener. You get what you pay for. Will use again.
Get a quote before getting the work done, (partially my own fault). $380+ for springs? Never again.

These guys were great. I was able to schedule quickly, and the work was done right away. Price was reasonable, too. I'm very pleased.
Great experience!!!! Had my car trapped and was not able to get the door open. I called A-1 Doors at 6 am and they had me out and on the road in no time. Not only was i on time to work , they didnt even charge me emergency rates. Strongly recommend this company. Thanks.
