What a cozy, comfortable atmosphere! It is wonderfully classic diner eating, friendly (in a Maine sort of way) staff. Lori was informative about the history of the place, and she has a great sense of down home humor. And, in true maine fashion, you have to go outside to use the bathroom (they are inside through another door). You have to experience the A1 diner! Featured in “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives”, it is worth the trip!
Our meal this morning was delicious, our first time there but won’t be our last. The crepes were to die for, best ever. Our waitress was the friendliest and very helpful. Great place
