We went to get a bicycle for one of our kids. The staff made a point of asking for gender so they could use the right pronouns. They talked us through the buying and maintenance process, which includes adjusting the bike as the child grows, trading the bike in once growth exceeds adjustments, and even the store's very helpful policy on keeping purchased bikes in the store for the holidays for people who can't just hide a bike in the house. Staff is extremely friendly and just as excited as I was with building my custom mountain bike. I researched at least 10 different bike shops from PA down to Richmond and went with the A1 crew due to their laid back, motivated and friendly staff.
