Rude management and they charged us for “damage” (we left no damage), yet won’t even provide proof. Apartment isn’t even good nor taken care of, don’t stay here
first of all the apartment itself is disgusting. rats, mold, the bathtubs don’t even drain and good luck with getting any type of maintenance done, they don’t reply! also, the walls were left SPOTLESS, and they’re trying to charge us $500 yet won’t even provide photos and “can’t talk about it on the phone.” this place is a SCAM. don’t go here.
Where do I start. AC always breaks, they will tow you even if you live there, my bathroom mirror fell off the wall it took them FIVE months to replace it, $500 in cleaning fees after the apartment was mopped, they walk into your apartment unannounced, I could keep going but I feel like this gets the point across. GM is an idiot, manger is an idiot. I would feel bad saying this stuff but it all happened in less than a year! Ridiculous. Don’t rent here.
I high recommend no one lives at lark and Ill explain why. Pros: - Good location - Rooms are big Cons: - When my room was flooded last semester we had to deal with a week of loud fans and maintenance coming in at any time during the day and had to beg to be moved to another room (once we were moved it was 2 bed 1 bath and we still had to pay the same 2 bed 2 bath rate.) - They will spend as much money as needed fixing the gate but once it comes to fixing the flashing lights in the hallways or the numerous bugs and trash ther... read more
UPDATE: Bibles were somehow left in our apartment and a few others as well. This feels highly inappropriate and a violation of our privacy, especially considering our door was locked. I have been living at the Lark for two years, and while there are some positives to living here, the negatives ultimately outweigh the overall experience.
