UPDATE: Bibles were somehow left in our apartment and a few others as well. This feels highly inappropriate and a violation of our privacy, especially considering our door was locked. I have been living at the Lark for two years, and while there are some positives to living here, the negatives ultimately outweigh the overall experience. Great place and even better office staff!
I high recommend no one lives at lark and Ill explain why. Pros: - Good location - Rooms are big Cons: - When my room was flooded last semester we had to deal with a week of loud fans and maintenance coming in at any time during the day and had to beg to be moved to another room (once we were moved it was 2 bed 1 bath and we still had to pay the same 2 bed 2 bath rate.) - They will spend as much money as needed fixing the gate but once it comes to fixing the flashing lights in the hallways or the numerous bugs and trash ther... read more
The pool has been broken for over a year. You’re not allowed to have guests. There’s rats and bugs. The gate breaks every week. They don’t empty the dumpster enough. They lost multiple of my packages. Edit: they just replied to me saying the pool has been closed one season. I attached a photo of an email from early June 2025 and the pool has been closed since. They keep lying to residents saying that they will open the pool when they won’t. It’s been closed since I moved in during August. The new manager Dammian Gonzalez didn’t care about the residents or anything they want at all. He even laughed in my face when I got emotional in his office about how I was frustrated with the lark. We also were told by Dammian with a 13 minute warning last week that water would be turned off for 2 hours and it was off for 5 hours. Just an example of how they don’t care about their residents.
