I have been living at the Lark for two years, and while there are some positives to living here, the negatives ultimately outweigh the overall experience. Positives: Apartments are bigger and spacious, and it is generally a nice place to live in terms of location and price. It is also one of the less expensive housing options downtown. Management decided to revoke guest passes because some weren’t returned rather than making new ones, having them expire, or literally any other alternative. When questioned, the only response is that they have decided to not distribute passes. If you try to have a guest over they will most likely be towed regardless of when they are there or if they park in the designated visitor spots. Little clarity or transparency about anything. Common areas are never cleaned. Gym is ridiculously dirty. Gym never, and I truly mean never has toilet paper. Generally very dirty everywhere. Dumpster/ trash compactor break/overflows constantly leaving mounds of trash. Management is incredibly incompetent. And if they try and say anything else in the comment to this, just know that it’s some bs
The pool has been broken for over a year. You’re not allowed to have guests. There’s rats and bugs. The gate breaks every week. They don’t empty the dumpster enough. They lost multiple of my packages.
- Rat infestation at trash (compactor broken and lacking proper pest control) - Walk in entrance gate broken (security concern) - Car gate and elevator frequently broken down - Overall lack of cleanliness of community areas/hallways (bathroom photos are of community space lounge area) Management has not been responsive to these concerns. Happy to delete negative review once all issues are resolved.
