Our experience with Lark Athens has been extremely disappointing, both because of the condition of the apartments and the way management has treated us when we raised legitimate concerns. During my son's time at Lark, we dealt with numerous maintenance and sanitation issues, including: A bee infestation that we reported numerous times. Our move-in experience at Lark Athens started with significant friction but resulted in an impressive corporate service recovery. On move-in day, my student's bedroom carpet had severe, extensive staining. The frontline staff experience was mixed: the main maintenance woman was incredibly friendly, went to the room with me immediately to inspect the stains, and quickly coordinated wall touch-ups. The Lark is not a place I would recommend!!! Quality of this complex has declined every year during our three years here! And the property mgt company has been negligent in terms of keeping this building well maintained. What used to be upscale housing is no more!!! Broken and non functioning security gates for two years, trash spilling over every weekend (rent an extra dumpster for heavens sake), rats seen in parking garage, hallways not refreshed, flickering outdated hallway lights, noisy tenants who are not managed by pro... read more
Rude management and they charged us for “damage” (we left no damage), yet won’t even provide proof. Apartment isn’t even good nor taken care of, don’t stay here
first of all the apartment itself is disgusting. rats, mold, the bathtubs don’t even drain and good luck with getting any type of maintenance done, they don’t reply! also, the walls were left SPOTLESS, and they’re trying to charge us $500 yet won’t even provide photos and “can’t talk about it on the phone.” this place is a SCAM. don’t go here.
