This place was horrible. Moved in and the apartment was disguising. Previous tenets clothes in the laundry, dishwasher machine was missing a rack and had old food in it, oven and sink broken, all furniture damaged in some capacity, and the carpet filled with hair and mold all in the shower. Had issues with black mold all year, and they would come and “fix” it and say they brought in professionals to clean the carpet and it never happened. The Lark is a decent place to live as a college student. Rent is cheaper than most other apartments that are within walking distance to downtown and campus. It’s also nice to have a pool and gym, a balcony, and my apartment is significantly bigger than most of my friends’ that live in other buildings (I have a HUGE closet and bedroom). However, the garage gate and ground floor entry to the building have been broken for almost a year so anyone can come in. Preface: any good reviews you see here are the result of a gift card raffle bribe, where all you had to do to be entered was leave a positive 5-star review! That should tell you enough… (they do this many times/year, hence the amount of phony reviews). I lived here for 2 years. Management is AWFUL &the turnover proves it. While here, there were at least 5 different office managers. If you want to get in contact with them, prepare to speak to an AI bot that hangs up if you ask to speak to a real person. I enjoy living here. The rates are good for downtown living and it was easy to renew my lease for next year. We have two cats and they were very accommodating. I have a xl 1B1B and it’s very spacious and comfortable. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful in the front office. Krista always greets us with a smile and is happy to help.
10/10 customer service. Krista was very helpful and answered all of my questions regarding the leasing process. She made the entire process very simple and was wonderful to speak with! Thank you, Krista!
