RecommendedCody inspected my new construction home. He was very professional and had extensive knowledge and background in contracting and home inspection. He was very courteous to ask if I had any questions throughout the entire inspection process. The inspection was VERY thorough, yet efficient. He emailed me the report with pictures and thorough explanations! I would highly recommend Cody and 840 Inspections!
They were punctual and thorough. It was great to meet them at the home when their inspection was wrapping up and talking through what they found even though I was going to read it in their report. Definitely recommended.

Being a first time home buyer was stressful enough but Kevin took the time to explain the process, his findings during the inspection, and to answer any questions I had. He communicated well, was flexible with my work schedule, and provided pictures for many of the items that needed attention. I'm glad that others have had a positive experience with this company, however my recent experience has been much different and I would caution against using them. The inspector missed several important items including plumbing and electrical problems as well as other issues which made it apparent that the crawl space of the home was not inspected. Please do your research and choose your own inspection company before using one recommended by a realtor.
These folks are top notch, from the people they are and what they represent, this carries over into their business! What a great team!!
Hands down the best home inspection in Mid TN! I started working with Kevin over a year ago and I have built a great partnership with 840. Kevin is thorough, flexible, detailed, consistent and always has the clients interest in mind (I could go on!). Kevin's review of the inspection report is detailed, he takes the time to make sure the client understands the results and is readily available for any follow up questions.
