Hmm. I'm getting uncomfortable with the new owners, Sparebox. In the past couple of months I've received invoices along with late fees even though my account has been on AUTOPAY. I've attempted to call them with no answer after being on hold for 15 minutes at a stretch. I am feeling as though I'm being played for late fees. Trust is hard to come by in this situation.
I have been with this storage place sence 2012 its changed hand's twice now. This new owner of the storage place sparebox storage there prices are way too much the driveway and roads inside the storage area are very bad holes. But the newest thing is and they never said anything about this to the people who rent a unit that insurance is required which made me very angry only because they never said anything about it and now they are just putting a protection plan on everyone's rent without telling us. 10/10 would not recommend this place. There have been break ins left and right at multiple locations, the people are shady and hard to get ahold of. I had my unit broken into and it took them at least a week to notice. The people that broke in took at least $4000 worth of things, and Sparebox basically told me I was SOL because I didn’t have insurance, even though they apparently require insurance? Obviously not. Then they advertise SAFE storage, but have no “working” security cameras. And they leave the access gate open unt... read more
