Saw the fabulous Ute Lemper tonight. The spirit of cabaret lives in this tiny lady with the big voice. Brava!
Loved every minute of listening to David Yazbek. My only suggestion would be not to make VIP seats ones where you can not see the performer play. Chose to downgrade (for the same price as a VIP seats) so we could see David Yazbek play the piano with such amazing talent! Great fun!!

Simply beautiful venue! Can't see that there's a bad seat in the house. Important caveat, you MUST check your coat or wear it. Personally that worked very well, but I could see it being problematic for some. Yes food is on the pricey side, but seriously you're in midtown Manhattan folks. Ive seen worse $$$$ in parts of Brooklyn. Very attentive wait staff. I appreciated Karoline's service (sometimes as a lone woman, I've had delays as my 20-25% tip is not going to match a 4 or 6 spot). But despite that, she never left me hang... read more
My first show at 54 Below last night!! Top to bottom, this is a wonderful place. The staff works their butts off! We had (what looked like) a capacity crowd and everyone was attended to readily so we all could GET DOWN and have a GREAT time! Can't wait to play this room again and to come back as a patron.
I always have the best time at 54 Below! The staff is top notch, friendly, and helpful and the food is wonderful! The programming is really great and I always wish I lived in NYC so I wouldn't have to miss so many fab shows.
By far my favorite venue to see Broadway talent on the small stage in an intimate setting! The shows Jen Tepper puts up are so amazing, makes me wish I could just live at 54 Below!!!
Well my last visit here 4 yrs ago was horrible and I swore I would never go back. Christine Pedi was there so her act brought us back. I have to say this experience was a lot better than our last. The food is very very overpriced and you're forced to spend $25 each for either dinner or dessert. (Plus tickets to get in) We had already eaten so we just decided to get dessert. I felt it was difficult to spend $50 on just cookies and coffee but they were nice enough not to charge us the whole amount as I coukd not have one more ... read more
