The food was excellent but the service for our party of 14,was not good. Also, a notification of a food allergy was given, and the offending item was brought to the diner on her plate anyway. The owner's attitude was incredulously "No substitutions!" This incident could have ended in a 911 call!
We came from Jupiter to see the best bartender on the planet, Dee!! She makes the most delicious pear martinis!! Besides the wonderful view of the ocean from this second floor restaurant, the apps during happy hour are super! Fried ipswich clams on top of deviled eggs are my favorite as well as the puff pastry topped shrimp in cream sauce. There are several choices on the menu but finishing your nite with the beignets send it over the top! We love 50 Ocean!!
