When I initially called, I was told that the service call would cost $100 only if no repairs were performed, and that if any repairs were done, the service call fee would be waived. However, that was not the case. The technician spent about 10 minutes at my property and stated there wasn’t much to be done — just tightening a couple of screws. Wow! I had an a/c issue today and of course it was miserable in this heat. 5 Star was contacted late in the afternoon and Nick showed up late in the day not long after the call. He was experienced and professional. He checked and cleaned all of the filters, checked the temperature and unit in the ceiling. He found that the drain line was plugged and cleaned it out plus positioned it a bit higher so it could drain more effectively. He worked outside a good portion of the call and it was HOT. The best A/C company in Key West!! They answer your phone call, quickly schedule your service, are polite, knowledgeable, and follow up. I called to inquire about one of the mini-splits in my house not doing as good a job as it had last summer. Nicholas was sent out and showed me that my attempts at cleaning hadn’t been great. He gave me an estimate for a total disassembly and proper cleaning. We scheduled it and he was back and did a great efficient job. The system now works as it did. Very happy
