Lived here in unit 1406 and I would avoid that unit and the building like the plague. The building’s biggest con is the elevators. So slow (like 10 minutes wait, no exaggeration), especially if you got suckered into paying extra for a “high floor”. That wasn’t me, but 1406 is go be avoided at all costs, there are multiple issues. That’s why it’s listed cheaper than all similar 1 bedrooms and they’re only giving concession for 19 month instead of 12. They want to trap you. Avoid! Hit me up if you want to talk more

DO NOT MOVE HERE. If there’s any good to come from our tenancy here, I hope it’s to prevent others from making the same mistake. I feel awful whenever I see people touring. The elevators are always broken so expect to wait up to 15 mins and there have been several occasions 0 elevators in the 31 floor buildings are operating. Every problem that crops up they manage to make worse. The place is just a construction zone at this point. I’ve been counting down the days until I can finally leave.

Do not live here. There are 4 elevators and 2 work consistently. They will tell you why but who really cares if you can't get home. Carpets in hallways are filthy (of course they will tell you they are replacing them). Gym is nice but they separate the gym charge but make it mandatory to make the rent seem lower. With all the new buildings going up and the fee on rentals dissappearing; you do NOT want to live here.

As a guest, I've always enjoyed visiting my friends who live in this building. However, I've personally seen the low elevator availability problem that others report. Used the gym when I visited in June, and it was okay. The pool was closed at 11am because the lifeguard wasn't on duty. As with any other NYC apartment, the space isn't huge. I live in suburban California, so surely not by those standards. Good views of the Manhattan skyline, and they have a roof deck on the 7th floor. Expect at least 2-3 elevators are broken every day throughout the year, especially during the summer. It is a serious hazard and a serious waste of time. Expect to wait 10-15 minutes for an elevator every day during peak hours. Not worth being raised 15-20% on rent if there's such a lack of priority for the safety of the tenants.
