Prior to my experience at 360 Defense Middletown I had never trained martial arts regularly. I had tried BJJ and Tae-Kwon-Do on a trial basis but nothing that really stuck. I always felt out of place, an awkward adult amongst a bunch of kids who had been training for years. So grateful to be part of the 360 Defense family! Kayla is an amazing instructor, super knowledgeable and pushes us to be our best all with a smile and kind heart. Kayla creates an environment that is high energy, encouraging and super informative all while having a ton of fun and working our butts off! It's a winning combination for me!😁 I also LOVE that the studio is woman owned and by such a strong, fierce, smart, caring woman who is an amazing role model to women and children.
The instructor is skillful and motivating. She pushes us to be our best and knows her stuff. She has many years of experience as a practitioner and instructor and it shows.
I can’t say enough about 360 Defense Martial Arts Middletown. Sensi Kayla Stomberg teaches practical self defense coupled with strength and conditioning in a fun and supportive atmosphere. The students I train with are dedicated to learning and improving as martial artists which helps me learn and grow. After training at several other martial arts schools over the past 15 years, 360 Defense Middletown is the best fit for me and feels like home.
The instructor is very skilled and she allows you to progress at your own pace but you will learn something new each and every class The other members are terrific people and everyone is so supportive while also having some fun! While learning these skills you are developing strength , discipline, confidence and some muscles too! If you want a great workout it’s a must try !!
I joined the school in February and absolutely love it. The classes are tailored to all levels of abilities. Kayla is a wonderful teacher and so patient with the kids. The classes are fun but definitely challenging. We have great students.
We love 360! It’s a beautiful brand new physical space that is warm and welcoming. Kayla is amazing! She is so energetic and patient with all the kids. We love that she focuses on the whole child- physical strength, emotional goals, education and character building. I know that the experience our son is having will have a lasting impact.
