This place was an absolute nightmare. I lived there for a year and didn’t cause any damage, yet when I left, they kept my entire deposit. On top of that, they tried to charge me an extra $500 for painting—even though my apartment was in perfect condition, with not even a single nail in the wall or a single scratch. Buyer beware!! Be prepared to pay an additional $300 per month on top of the base rent in fees. They will charge you for water, garbage, and code compliance??? I wish that I would have read the comments before moving here. AND the elevator never works. Management is an expert at evading and pushing blame to others. AND they have other “careers” that distract them almost everyday. Double dipping on the tenants money.
Horrible management company. Redwood Urban, the elevator at our building has been out of service for over 3 1/2 weeks and it's clear to all tenants that it is not a priority.
DO NOT LIVE HERE! This is the worst apartment building in all of Los Angeles. The leasing office ignores calls and emails. Maintenance is unresponsive and they have a rat infestation, which leaves a reeking odor in the lobby and units. Gentel Blair is disrespectful and never shows up to do her job. Josh is the onsite agent who moves slow to get anything done.
