About this business

In the hip and green Dilworth area, 300 East stands out amongst the other eateries. Serving up eclectic and traditional American cuisine, it is a neighborhood favorite. Try out the Mongolian Lamb Chops, Thai Pork Tenderloin, and Penne with Duck for lunch or dinner, followed by a mouth-watering dessert. If you're thoroughly satisfied with the food, be sure to return for the scrumptious brunch! Have a martini or two with friends on the patio and enjoy a view of the street and passers-by. Never have had a bad experience here until I came in with my parents for an early Mother's Day brunch yesterday. The waitress forgot my mom's orange juice and my mom just mentioned that she had ordered one to which the waitress replied "I heard you." My dad ordered the Belgian waffles which were undercooked. There is no need to be rude to your customers and food quality was a little underwhelming.

I really wished I had taken a picture before sending back. I ordered a burger recieved Slider for $14....overpriced!! I then told my family that they better not come back and say that it was because i order it medium-well....well guess what the 1st thing out her mouth was....essentially it was a 3" round piece of meat on a 6" bun. It looked that ridiculous. Now...my son liked his waffles but he is 14 and not sure waffles for $10.50 matters to him. My mom said that the crab cake Benedict was ok nothing to write home about aga... read more

Diners drive-ins and dives did not disappoint. However, this place is far from a dive. The atmosphere is very nice and the food is delicious. Highly recommend the ahi tuna salad and ice cream sandwich! Definitely will visit again when I'm in Charlotte

Cosy place, good ambience and friendly staff. The food was ok. Could do a little more on taste and portions. A little pricey per entree.

I've been going to 300 East for at least the last 10 years and still love it. Great menu, reasonably priced and good customer service. Highly recommended.

Made a sporadic decision to have Easter brunch there yesterday. I used Open Table to make a reservation. Walked in and was seated immediately. Two of us chose breakfast items and one had a lunch type sandwich. Everything came out freshly prepared and relatively fast. Our waitress was very friendly. Will definitely be visiting again.
