Great barbecue and great family that runs this historic establishment!
RecommendedGourmet style food prepared 15 feet away from your seat. Outstanding service. The pork bbq poached egg breakfast entree is out of this world.
Was in about an hour ago to grab something to go. Pulled pork BBQ sandwich is great. But what I'd like to point out was the awesome waitress. Pretty mad at myself that I didn't get her name. She was AWESOME!!!!! Us southern gals know how to provide great hospitality and I surely appreciated hers. PLEASE pass this along to her! �
Michele was amazing on this crazy night. This was our first visit. We were a party of nine, some of us sat at the counter while the rest sat at table one. Food was great, atmosphere was fun, especially as the entire restaurant sang “Sweet Caroline” (bum bum bum) together and gave ourselves a round of applause afterward. Thanks for the great service, Michele. I know it was a bit of a stressful night for you, but you didn’t falter! We all enjoyed it.
Went there for the BSA plaque with Aaron Bills, had a great time, staff was friendly and attentive and the food was amazing. 100% recommend.
Went to a concert in Bristol, and found 29 Diner for breakfast the next day. What a find! Great local place with friendly staff and great food. The owner is an asset to the community in Fairfax, so you can feel good about eating there too, supporting small business. Loved the experience!
