Went here with my family and in laws during pop up shops on Saturday. There are very few family friendly places with excellent food and this is one of them! We have never been disappointed by anything we have eaten here. Loved the cream of crab soup as did my in laws. The portion sizes for kids meals are huge! The pizza was enough for both of my kids and then some as was their burgers. Thank you for a delicious meal yet again with great service.
Wow! Will be traveling from Frederick just to eat here. So glad we tried 28 South. Burgers are amazing!
First time to dine here, but was compelled by the menu and location to Maryland Theater. Atmosphere was unique and fun. Server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and made some great suggestions. Our meals did not disappoint. My sister commented that her grilled romaine salad was prepared perfectly and that the charred portions were especially delicious. A friend invited me to a Taste of the Town event; 28 South was one of the participants. Once there, we each ordered a glass od wine and contemplated dinner after the event. A male waiter approached us and told us we had to move from where we were siting, that it was "for paying customers only". He pointed to a smaller area by the back entrance and said, "You'll have to go over there." He was rude and dismissive. HE is the reason I WILL NEVER RETURN to 28 South....even if the food was free!

Mrs. Rice, when exactly where you in? The taste of the down as in last year? I find it very difficult to believe that one of our staff would say that this is for paying customers only.... if this is true, i would have you come in and point out the staff member and i will terminate him if that was said.... i wish this was handled that night and then you could have given us your review. unfortunate.
