Wow, oh wow, is this place good! – Boston offers many sophisticated dining delights, but 28 degrees is by far the best! The space is elegant and stylish, great for romantic dates or classy parties. The food....oh, the food! The best in Boston! Sinful tapas-like dishes and scrumptious desserts. Perfectly matched with strong and tasty, refreshingly robust cocktails. All of which will leave you begging for more. And if the food and drinks are not enough to keep you coming back, the service and staff certainly will. The congenia... read more
South End bar and lounge provides area scenesters with a stylish place to snack and swill. – In Short While the South End is considered one of the city's hippest neighborhood, it lacks an abundance of suitable nightlife options. 28 Degrees, with its swank interior and designer cocktails (Pomegranate Cosmo), fits the bill. The wildly eclectic menu contains upscale finger foods like Maine Lobster "sliders," avocado and steak tacos, and an Andouille sausage, tomato and oregano pizza.
A must for the urbanite, socialite, or anyone who just wants great service and classy cocktails... – Finally! Cosmopolitan cool comes to Boston. An amalgamation of great service; great food and drink; and great atmosphere, 28 degrees is by far the hippest new hot spot in the city. This is the place to be (and be seen).
A Refreshing New Taste in Boston – In a city where heaping a plate-full of food is generally thrown on a table I found 28 Degrees to be a completely new dining experience in Boston. The wine list is ever changing and always well stocked, as for the bar menue that has new selections every month, I found it to entertain any taste that I have walked in with. Not only is the entire staff well knowledgeable about every drink or wine on the menue they can make it with superb accuracy and is always delicious. The concept of the "Sh... read more
HORRENDOUS & RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE – We went for a friend's 30th Birthday party and had 40+ people shoved into the back room. First of all, the waitress and host were rude when we strolled outside to get some air and sat in one of the 5 empty tables. We couldn't get a drink from our waitress so we went to the bar. The bartender dumped a drink on me and my husband. It wasn't enough that the waitress had to be rude and say "You can't sit there, we have a line of people waiting for tables." First of all, we were paying customer... read more
Trying to hard to be hip – OK, so I get it. You're the it lounge right not, but lose the attitude. The guy at the front was a total jerk.
Good times – Had a great experience here. The food was amazing, had their gnocchi and found it well made and delicious. Pizza was good, dough had a good flavor. Hamachi was well prepared and plentiful, calamari crisp and properly cooked. Service was attentive and friendly. Our waiter, Ricardo, was well versed in his knowledge of wines and spirits and pairing food with drinks. Ask for him, he was great. Would recomend hitting them up earlier in the week but it is pretty busy all the time but weekends are jamming. Only ting I ... read more
Thumbs DOWN!!! – I was so excited to try this restaurant as I had heard good things about it! What a dissapointment! The service was horrific - not only did my water glass stay empty for hours on end but our party of 7 was served 4 dishes of the 10 that we ordered and then we sat for 45 minutes without another dish in site. When the next dish did arrive (pizza) the waitress explained that it was the last pizza of the night and burnt so they wouldn't charge us for it. How gracious. At this point she also explained that she al... read more
SEAMLESS! – This restaurant definitely tops my list with it's trendy atmosphere (LOVE the bathroom), friendly staff and amazing drinks/food. My friends and I stopped in this past weekend, and were immediately greeted by Elizabeth who took our jackets and frequently checked on us before (and after) we were seated. While we waited for the table, Aaron, our super friendly bartender recommended some drinks... bloody bellini was the winner- and it was sooo good! However I'm not sure what was better, the cocktails or the food! Def... read more
