Get directionsCustomer service upon entrance was great all up until the last 20 mins. At approximately 1340 one of your 24 hour fitness employees decided to get a head start on cleaning for the next session to come in. It’s fine that you are tapping into my last 20 mins to get ahead start and clean but when you start to purposely spray towards me and then make an excuse and say “well we’re gnna close in 15 minutes anyways” does not justify you spraying me with cleaning chemicals. There are other witness and a video was captured of the 24 ... read more
Scam. They scam their customers. I cancelled at the start of the pandemic since we were on lock down and basically still are.. Yet they still keep charging me. I've reported them to my bank for fraud. It is making give them a star, id give them no star if it was an option. despicable.
I reached out to 24 hour numerous times in March requesting that I cancel my service. The state ordinance started March 16th and I was billed March 6th. I find it very predatory that 24hour fitness decided to charge me for the full month of March while operations were not in order. They have been charging me since! This company is awful for the lack of transparency and continuing to charge me when I have expressed through multiple outlets that I do not give my consent to charge. There are a few other errant charges that do n... read more
I purchased 2 month-to-month memberships for myself and my fiancé shortly before the COVID-19 outbreak. When the gyms closed, we were glad because it was for community health. Now that gyms have reopened, we cancelled our membership because we still do not feel comfortable working out in a gym with lots of shared equipment and people nearby. Here’s where the problem starts: I cancelled my membership on 8/11 and have confirmation of doing so; then, on 8/14, they charged my card for both memberships. When I try to call: no ans... read more
I was "escorted" out of the 24 hour Fitness Millbrae today because I was taking pictures of the many people who were not wearing masks. They accused me of harrassing these members and were more upset about me taking picture (none of them were in the locker room) than they were about the members not wearing masks. I pointed out a member whose mask was pulled down under her nose and he stated "she can't breathe." Often the staff is not wearing masks at the front desk. This gym should be shut down.
Don't EVER EVER purchase any type of membership with these guys. Complete rip off. I paid $429.99 for a prepaid ****** membership, only to find out that it is no longer accepted. I mean seriously, they have raised their prices and cut corners with their service. They also do a horrible job maintaining cleanliness, don't even fix their machines, close their gyms for no apparent reason, and are horribly staffed. Soon there will be very few gyms to go to. They won't even give you a refund if you cancel your membership and if yo... read more
Management are not enforcing the mask rule, 7/10/2020 in the evening I approached Justin L. the duty "manager" about asking people not wearing masks to do so, he was just rude to me. They took money in April although closed in March, as mentioned below. This place is not safe, and the staff are lacking direction and management, they just play with their smartphones all night. The staff no longer care.
Very disappointed going back to 24 hour fitness after they have been closed for 3 months. I have to make a reservation to go and when I get there most people are NOT wearing face coverings. If it is required at grocery stores, banks and so forth how come not at a place like 24 hour fitness. Out of respect for others they should be leading by example and asking/requiring guests to wear face coverings at the very least until this pandemic is somehow resolved. I have been a loyal member since 2001 and never been late or missed ... read more
Since I'm still being charged for a membership, I tried to go back to the gym and employees are NOT reinforcing the mask rules. This leaves me making requests from fellow gym-goers on my own, and people are not cool about it. THIS PLACE IS NOT SAFE.
