My family and I went on a Monday evening we had a great walking experience the gardens are lush and fresh great for picture taking, the animals were active and very healthy my kids want to go back asap.
A great little zoo with a lot of active animals! Free is a great price! Well laid out! Needs motor carts for handicapped though!!! We had a lot of fun and will return!
It was a good time, my only complaint is there seems to he a lack of maps or maybe we just missed them other than that it was super fun.
This is by far the BEST Zoo in Illinois! It's clean, it's free and had many more animals than Brookfield! We will be back soon! BTW my Granddaughter loved the new Penguin exhibit! �
I never actually made it into the zoo because there was no parking. What was supposed to be family time backfired as I had to drop off the rest of my family while I drove around forever looking for parking.
Whats nice about this zoo that its free, and although its free it was not crowded. The animals that i loved are lion and bears. They were unique in this zoo. I recommend who will visit chicago to pass by this zoo.
