With regard to your response, it was as expected and very unprofessional. After being startled by the banging on the door by the maintenance men, I ran to the door to let them in. I may have had a cigarette in my hand but honestly do not remember that. Yes, I did throw open the balcony doors in order to reduce the stench created by unplugging the dishwasher. Mrs. ****** - The only feedback we had from you or your husband during your stay was that you were having a wonderful time. Even when your husband called about needing the late check out and OFFERING the $50 late fee, he expressed what a great time you all had. You had ample opportunity to relay any complaint to us directly and you didn't. It was not until AFTER you were charged for the smoke deodorization service required that you voiced any grievance and it was to the BBB (6/26/19), not us. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! Unfortunately, my family had an awful experience with the Operations Manager as she was both unprofessional and unkind. After we departed the condo, she looked for any and all reason to charge extra fees to our credit card and did so without discussion. However, as we were inconvenienced by broken appliances, horrific smells coming out of the dishwasher & maintenance men coming/going, we received no compensation nor apology. Yes, two charges were made to your card after your check-out. The first one was for the amount you (your husband) offered to pay due to you oversleeping and requesting a late check-out. The second one was due to the fact you smoked or allowed smoke to enter a non-smoking unit. Management noticed this smell upon your check-out and had to take immediate action to remedy it.
