1909 Temecula is a tribute to the Machado building, the location where the restaurant and bar now lives. Well before the 1909 burger was created, this structure has been home to a trading post, livery, auto shop and most notably a bar. During the 70's, the Longbranch Saloon was known as the roughest place in town to get a drink. Locals often stop in and tell stories of brawls and shootings. 1909 was a wonderful place to eat. For us it was diffantly worth the hour and 20 minutes we waited to get a table. They have the easiest call service for you to come back, it is with a text to your phone . when you come back everyone was so nice and help. They do check your tempiture before you walk in, and you do have to have a mask on walking to your table. As soon we sat down the waitress was getting our drink order to get us started. I felt comfortable there. They took every precaution to keep us safe. The staff was friendly and our server, Diamond, was great. The food was delicious too. We’ll be back.
