1909 Temecula is a tribute to the Machado building, the location where the restaurant and bar now lives. Well before the 1909 burger was created, this structure has been home to a trading post, livery, auto shop and most notably a bar. During the 70's, the Longbranch Saloon was known as the roughest place in town to get a drink. Locals often stop in and tell stories of brawls and shootings. Great cocktails and service. The cedar-smoked old fashioned is epic. And my husband had a Norlets gin old fashioned with plum bitters that was really good too. Ben the bartender is friendly, nice and he takes pride in every drink. A great place to relax with all kinds of different folks. And the food is great too. Enjoy!
I was introduced to 1909 two weeks ago and I love it. The service has been great thus far. The ambience is fantastic. The rosemary bushes are a nice touch. Had the bone in porkchop and it was heavenly. Definitely one of the places I will frequent once I move to Temecula.

Great place, great service even though they were really crowded. Can't wait to go back.
Food was pretty good! I had the salmon which was very fresh it was the 1909 lox...yum!
