1909 Temecula is a tribute to the Machado building, the location where the restaurant and bar now lives. Well before the 1909 burger was created, this structure has been home to a trading post, livery, auto shop and most notably a bar. During the 70's, the Longbranch Saloon was known as the roughest place in town to get a drink. Locals often stop in and tell stories of brawls and shootings. The food was very good especially the corn chips. But I ordered hot tea with cream. Was brought an extra large bag already in the cup. It was an Early grey. Which I find d taisty like soap and is an oily tea .I asked for a black tea they did not have any.

The Crab and Shrimp Empanadas are awesome and the classic 1909 burger is a meal by itself. Good food and good service.
Best lunch I've had in a long time! The chicken Sammie with side salad was delicious. highly recommend!
