RecommendedFinally checking out this taste of Kansas City BBQ in Dallas. The burnt ends are on point, brisket is definitely KC style, jalapeño/cheddar sausage is very good, Apple cider coleslaw and jalapeño/cheddar grits are definitely a must try, the ribs had good flavor but not the best. Overall I'd give it a 95% and I'll definitely be back, especially with a great selection of Boulevard beers on tap including Tank 7!

Delicious brisket grilled cheese! Cute place. Good service. Sauce was amazing. Would recommend and eat again when in the area.
Very beautiful interior, and the aroma of the fire was unbelievable. The food was terrific, and was surprised how reasonable the price was!

As a Kansas City (Kansas) native, 18th & Vine did not disappoint. The brisket and ribs were flavorful, tender and just plain delicious. The BBQ sauce was true to KC-style sauce and a perfect complement to the meat. And if the sauce is not your thing and want to just savor the flavor of the meat alone you will not be disappointed. Food was ok. We make better at home. I did not appreciate how my father in law fell because of the flimsy chairs and a manager could not be bothered to come check on him. The waiter told us falls happen regularly there because of the chairs. We won't be back.
