Was in Huntsville for the day and wanted to try somewhere new to eat. Found it in the web. It was Sunday brunch time and we didn’t have a reservation. No worries just a 5 minute wait, they were busy. 😊 Food was fresh and delicious! Our waitress was efficient, courteous, and fast. A mimosa comes with brunch but since I don’t drink alcohol she made it without. We will definitely return!!
Was in town for just two nights and was looking for a good, eclectic, local place and found 1892 here on Yelp. I wasn't disappointed. Great menu selection, including chicken, fish, pork, and beef, as well as multiple vegetarian entrees. I had tempeh with pasta. It was very tasty and well seasoned. I also had the day's soup, a delicious tomato bisque. The restaurant is located in the neat, historic 5 Points neighborhood. 1892 has a full bar. Servers were friendly and professional. Check out 1892 if you're in town!
My husband and I dropped by yesterday (having the day off) and ate a lovely meal. Enjoyed the food, ambiance and the staff was attentive as well. Having the leftovers today and remembering how good it was! We will be back.
I was there for lunch yesterday. My first visit. Staff was very nice. The menu was pretty limited and they don’t even serve sweet tea. I ordered a well done hamburger but it came out very pink in the middle. I DONT EAT PINK HAMBURGER!! they took it back and i assume nuked it, it was okay but I prefer it done the right way. I doubt if I would ever go back. It’s a cute place but I guess it’s not for me.
We visited you guys last night. We had read so many good things about you and it did not disappoint! Our waiter, David, was absolutely wonderful and the food was amazing! The French press coffee was perfect and desserts are big enough to share and delicious. We will definitely be back!
