1886 is hands down the best barber shop I've ever been to. Jesse cut my hair and beard for five glorious years. The service, atmosphere, decor, and conversation is unmatched. I left NH last year and now I dread getting my hair cut. I've considered flying back just to go to 1886.
Just moved to the Dover area, this place was highly recommended and I will be a returning customer. Ricky did an amazing job! Friendly & great barber!
First time booking and going. My toddler fell asleep, and peed through his entire outfit so we were late. We couldn’t be seen I understand that. But no refund or booking a next available spot? Telling me to pay another 40$ is ridiculous and book online for being a no show, when I showed up, just late actually. I have never experienced that anywhere else, due to an accident. Not for understanding people, definitely won’t go back (:
Couldn't tell you about the quality of the cut. I made an appointment online. Missed it due to a flight delay. Joey charged me still, which I guess is fair. Offered to reschedule for an additional full charge. All I can say is that I know for sure that I'll go out of my way to steer business away from here.
Hello my names Tyler! I’ve gotten 2-3 haircuts in total within the last year and a half. I want to say I’ve not once left the store with a botched haircut. I have felt always confident after every appointment. I am usually quiet, but listening to the guys chit chat is always a very interesting experience. Topics are quite…unique(?). Nevertheless, 1889 has talented people here who have taken care of my hair everytime. Thanks!
