As usual enjoyed sitting @ the lovely bar & watching the bartenders create drinks! Food was great & our waitress Nicole did a great job
We had a wonderful time Nicole was an efficient and friendly server... the manager Ashley was welcoming and helpful to any of our questions... food was as ordered and very good... great time experience with great friends

we happened on 1884 while driving around looking for someplace to eat when we couldn't even find a parking spot in Mt. Dora. Asked about the building's origin and was told it was a department store for like 100 years. Hubby had cheeseburger which he said he was stuffed after eating. I had the buffalo chicken mac n cheese. I have to admit it arrived not hot but I was too hungry to ask the waiter to fix it. The cheese sauce was obviously made from scratch ... yum. Had dinner last night with 15 other people. We had Ariel as a server. She was fantastic and treated everyone as old friends. The food was great along with the service. We will definitely be back and will request to be seated in Ariels area.
A very enjoyable meal. Nice atmosphere. Arielle, our server, was very friendly, attentive, and helpful. The fried mushrooms were delicious for an appetizer. Both of our steaks were very good. Looking forward to a return in the future.
The lobster wrap was delicious and more than enough for us to share. We didn't care for the potato salad as much but it was OK. The restaurant and bar are beautiful and enormous inside. Also, our wait staff was friendly and efficient. My husband commented that the men's bathroom was in need of a cleaning. We look forward to going back again and give it another try. Overall, good impression.
