This was a great experience. Food was excellent. Waitresses Lauren & Ashley were incredible. Manager Ashley has this place on its toes. I highly recommend everyone to experience the warm atmosphere and having live music on a week night was great. $$ But so worth it.
Our waitress was very friendly. We had party of 7. The 3 ladies started with French onion. The soup was extremely salty and we notified the waitress. The 3 ladies meals followed quickly. The men ordered sushi and still had. not received their meals and all the ladies were finished eating. It took over 45 minutes for all the sushi meals to be completed. While the sushi was excellent 45 minutes is too long to wait.
First visit ever here got the Island Tropical sushi roll it was the best sushi I've ever had in my entire life out of the several sushi places I've been. Husband got the 10 breaded hot wings with blue cheese and said it was a 8 out of 10 score super delicious! Our waitress Amanda was super sweet and checked on us very well. Kept the table super clean also. My absolute favorite part is the night manager Ashley, she is absolutely AMAZING. This is definitely an awesome place.
I can't say enough good things about our experience here! Ashley( night manager) treated us like family! I called Wendsday around 1:00 Pm asking for the impossible, We needed a place to have dinner for a small Wedding party. Ashley pulled out a magic wand and set us up in the balcony, made a Wedding cake for the Bride and Groom and gave us one of the best servers I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The service is good the ambience good! The sushi was sub par! The rice was so dry I could barely choke it down. My husband had the seared tuna salad and said it was fair. Iceburg lettuce (really)? And what look like to be entire, red onion. Just not up to 60 dollars!
My opinion is from my meal alone.... buffalo chicken mac and cheese, AMAZING.. and my drink was good too... some fruity fizz with St. Augestine vodka (without the mint cuz I hate mint), but it was amazing.. I think if I go back, I wouldn't dare try anything else because it was that good! :)
My wife and I have been to 1884 for drinks and multiple occasions for celebration, but I never really sat down and ordered a full meal. We had some friends that wanted to try something new and we all decided on 1884 last night. The Manager "Big A" greeted us with a smile and the hostess sat us down right away and before you knew it the waiter Robbie was there to get our drinks, appetizers and introduced some of his favorites on the menu. We visited my nephew in Eustis last night and they took us to 1884. What a treat! Worth the drive from New Smyrna. Since it was going to take a little while, I ordered the french fries for the table to snack on. We all agreed that they were the best we have had in years. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the desserts were remarkable! Our waitress, Nicole S., was on top of everything and the manager, Ashley, adds so much fun to the experience.
The food was incredible! Fun atmosphere with live music. We had Joshua as our server and he was super attentive and provided excellent service. ��
