My friend and I had an ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC first visit to 1884! Exceptional friendly and prompt service by our amazing server! Ask for Nicole Stevens, you will be SO glad you did. She will go above and beyond to make sure that your visit is extraordinary. From the time we walked in the door till the time we left our service and food was excellent. We started with a drink and appetizer, shrimp cocktail and fried green tomatoes. Our main course was the Duck with herb crusted potatoes and a salad. Last was the eclair. Our server Lauren and Candice gave us great service. Just came back from a girls night out....it was both of our first time at 1884. 1st off, the sushi was amazing!! Nicole was our server, she was 100% on point with everything we asked and had great attention to detail about the whole menu! We couldnt make up our minds on what to get from the menu so we ordered more food then we could handle! The live music was fantastic! It was an all round great dining experience. We will definitely be back!!

There are no directions as to where the entrance is if parking out back "anywhere"! For 1st timers.. we parked out back because Christmas lights were being hung and power trucks had the road blocked.. this was a luncheon might I add.. Big A and her staff are always welcoming, friendly, and professional. The food is yummy and the entire family can find something on the menu they actually like! (If you have little ones, you know how difficult this can be.) Thank you for the reliably great service and consistently great food!
Heard very good things about the restaurant, took my wife and kids ( both under four) for lunch expecting Wednesday would be a quick In and out. Had to get my own highchairs, never revived kids meals, waited 15 minutes to order drinks, another 15 to even order while guessing at what could be on the invisible kids menu, another 15 for the appetizer.
