Order: Seared Ahi appetizer was over cooked. Should be rare. Caprese salad was okay. Mozzarella wasn't fresh, but Balsamic was good. Ribeye was over cooked and tough, Sweet Potato was under cooked, spinach was bland. Garlic for spinach should have been chopped for sauté, not whole. Manager was a no show. Took off the steak, but avoided me like the plague!! Nut up and talk to the customer and maybe they'll come back. Avoid them and they don't. And a drive by as I'm walking out the door doesn't count. We had a largr gathering of approximately 50 people. The food, service, and atmosphere were perfect for our venue. We had the 2nd floor to ourselves and it was just the right size. I'd highly recommend 1884!
Shout out to this amazing place! My mother called, kind of last minute, to ask for the possibility of a reservation for about 30 people for my grandmother’s birthday. We were asking for 7pm on Friday—probably one of their busiest moments! The manager was very nice, and said she would work with us the best she can. I have been here a few times and the bar staff is excellent, but wish I could say the same for the food! Last visit a medium bacon cheeseburger came out like a hockey puck with uncooked bacon, figure that out!
We had a fabulous meal last night. My husband and I like to share and we were pleasantly surprised when our meal was brought out already split up with sides on each plate. We had the amazing Island roll and then a Ribeye with roasted potatoes and onion rings and we loved every bite.
Visited 1884 for the first time with a large group for a birthday party. Lauren the server was excellent. She provided first class service with a smile. Unfortunately my mahi mahi and roasted pototes that had a great flavor was served warm at best. So was my sisters same meal. I did not complain to management as I was very hungry and didn’t want to wait for them to prepare it again. They comped my sister with free tea and desert. There desert was great. Everyone one in the party enjoyed the food experience.
