Great service & food. We felt as welcome as family when we walked in!
Just had fresh, lightly blackened, hailbut at 1841. Delicious.
Love this place! My husband and I stopped by for dinner tonight, and it was a fabulous experience. We started off with the Carolina Eggrolls, which are to die for. I had the shrimp and grits-delicious. Food was great, service was great, and Vickie is THE BEST. What a hometown treasure! Donna Hart
Vickie Setzer and her staff did a wonderful job hosting the wedding dinner for our daughter and her new husband. They supplied everything we asked for and went above and beyond to make this a great evening for our family and friends. If your planning an event and need a space to host it, I would definitely consider 1841 Cafe in Lenoir.
This was my first visit to 1841 Cafe in downtown Lenoir. I recommend it for those who enjoy a relaxing atmosphere offering a nice selection of wines, desserts to be desired and a wonderful menu selection. I enjoyed a fabulous salad with delicious homemade Ranch dressing, accompanied by a glass of sweet white wine. The live entertainment included The Neighbors an enjoyable ensemble of Bluegrass music. Oh the Milk Chocolate Cake... �
Shannon gave us excellent service at the bar. We received our food quickly. Their chicken salad is very good - generous portion with celery, pecans, grapes and seasoned well. They have delicious moist cakes. They support local businesses and get their cakes from Sandra at the Highland Coffee Shop. Pina Colada and German Chocolate were amazing and huge slices.
