Everything was top shelf, 5 stars: from the ambience, to the service (LOVE Steve!) to the meals - crab stew (to die for), rack of lamb & seafood Neptune - to the dessert: bread pudding! 100% deliciousness!

Jay "Dynamite" was an amazing server! We came from Hilton Head Island and all work in the food and beverage industry. I believe there was 14 of us and he remembered all of our names and was extremely personable. All of the food we ordered was amazing! The filet was cooked perfectly and the shrimp and grits are to die for! I will be back
Nice quiet place in downtown, oldest inn in Savannah
I visit every time we are in Savannah. We enjoyed a few cocktails in the pub. Our bartender Scott was extreme attentive and accommodating. The sangria was out of this world. The food in the dining room was fantastic. I am never disappointed coming here.
I had the grouper special. I love grouper. It was the best I ever had. We will be back. We have only had dinner in Savannah maybe 4 times, but the 17 Hundred 90 is the best!

Hands-down our favorite restaurant in all of the downtown area. The service is excellent. The atmosphere is wonderful. There is no loud television or music. Light live piano sets the tone and the food is Wonderful, with good portion sizes. I also enjoy sitting in the bar area where you can also get a very good menu selection and nice strong drinks. I had the New York strip this visit and it was as tender and delicious as a fillet. I am never disappointed when dining here!
