Have always wanted to try 1776 but for some reason never got there. A friend asked us to join her for dinner there and I have to say I was very impressed. Excellent friendly service, very welcoming. Flavorful prime rib cooked to perfection. Definitely on my list of “go to” places.
Don’t let the understated exterior fool you. This restaraunt is top shelf in every way. Elegant yet relaxing environment. Top shelf service and five star food. Lobster stuffed black ravioli is heaven. Dinner was over the top decadent. Filet mingion and crab imperial stuffed lobster tail. Really enough for two. Must have the creme brûlée cheesecake. Never had anything like it! Have traveled the world. One of my best meals!
I had my rehearsal dinner at 1776 and could not have dreamed of a better dinner! The food is amazing and the staff is kind, caring, and fantastic to work with. I highly recommend 1776 for happy hour, dinner, or, if you’re lucky enough to get married at the beach, a rehearsal dinner!
Place is the real deal
Great service and delicious food! This is one of my favorite places to eat. Never have had a bad meal. Love 1776 style filet. !!!

Terrific food and service on Saturday, May 12, 2018! Our server Alex was quick to provide an expertly crafted martini and perfect Manhattan. Fresh hot rolls and chopped salads followed along with a refreshing glass of Pinot Grigio. The evening's entrees were the 8 ounce Filet Mignon and 14 ounce New York Strip, both perfectly grilled. My husband took me here for dinner and I loved it ! The waiter was amazing and the food was out of this world !!!
Never disappointed at 1776! Consistently amazing food, drinks and service. Nice, cozy environment which is hard to find in most local reataurants with high ceilings, crammed in tables and tile floors.
