Food was delicious! Service was great! The owner, Tom, did a great job watching over everything. The entertainment was a nice touch. Looking forward to our next visit!
This is not a dinner....this was an experience. The stuffed lobster tail was favorably under stated in size on the menu with a very fresh crab stuffing. Combined with onion rings and a fresh vegetable medley this was the perfect meal. My partner in crime had the Filet trio. Each of filets cut with just a fork and had a perfect combination of flavors on each one. The cheesecake dredged in sugar then melted under flamed blown heat melted in each mouthful. We had a wonderful dinner, with attentive service in a private room for my mother's birthday. A lovely experience from the delicious food to the varied wine menu. I highly recommend this restaurant and will go back as soon as I can.
Been going to 1776 since moving here full time in 2010. Consistently fine food & friendly service! Quality vegetarian options, too. A bonus is seeing Bryan Clark perform there (generally the first Thursday of each month). It’s our favorite place in the area!��
