If you’re a Texan, it gets no better than this! Amazing ambiance. An incredible meal while looking at the legendary apex of Texas Independence history. The goat cheese and smoked salmon crostini appetizer was on point! My wife had the stuffed quail, and I had the 16 oz ribeye encrusted w bleu cheese. The service (by Jason) was just right. Found my new favorite steakhouse in town.
My wife and I had a steak last night that was awful. Totally grizzle. Our bad we tried to eat it. The staff had no answer and no accommodation. The worst I have ever had and $$$$$. 1 star

The steak was phenomenal, the view was incredible and our server, Austin, was one of the best we’ve ever had!

One of the best meals I’ve EVER HAD!!! We had a wonderful meal and lots of laughs!! Loved the atmosphere and wait staff was excellent!! Everyone must treat themselves at least once.
The food, service, and ambiance are all top rate. Jordan was our waiter - fantastic! Attentive, helpful, and maybe a bit persuasive, too! But the menu did that all by itself. I got the Cowboy Cut Ribeye - I've never done that before - and asked for it to be cooked Pittsburgh style. The chef nailed it. Delicious! Nice and tender on the inside (med rare) but charred on the outside, ala like the old Pittsburgh steel workers who would toss their steaks on very hot blast furnaces during a quick lunch. The atmosphere and location were great but our waiter had zero personality and was not attentive to anything - refills, orders, checks - and was rude a few times when we asked for something specific. The food was good, but for the price, you could get the exact same quality and much better service at Ruth Chris. We had a party of 12 so maybe we just got the worst waiter bc they knew it was an automatic gratuity. ??
