I currently live here, and would not recommend this place to anyone. We received our apartment in horrible shape, dirt floors, dirty counter top, pieces of the vinyl flooring coming off, fridge not working properly, and a list of 15 other problems at the time of move-in (have photo evidence). Management is careless, very nonchalant, unless money is a big issue for you, go next door, anything may be better than this apartment complex. The building is nice but the management company is a mess. They ignored tenant complaints about broken elevators and running water until the city inspectors got involved and when it comes to renewals, they will increase your rent by hundreds of dollars despite having quite a few of the same units available at a price lower than your current rent. They also act like they are doing you a favor with this rent increase. I would not recommend renting from any UDR property.
RecommendedAbsolutely love living here. Pricing is great for the size. Maintenance availability is always important to me and I can say that they do a good timely job here as well. Definitely renewing in August!
Greedy owners who do not care about their tenants or any of their complaints. Nothing changes, poor management and no accountability. Do not do business with 14 north. We are moving out at the end of current lease. (10% increase each year as well, I always see people moving out and new people coming in not abiding by the rules and 14 north doesn’t do a thing about it) there are gloves around the yard, poop bags scattered, people smoking and playing loud music late at night)
RecommendedThis was the most convenient place for me to live to be close to my job. Honestly this whole city faces bad reviews because of pricing I think. However, that is simply the cost of living to live in Alexandria. Has nothing to do with the quality! This place has the most space too that was in my price range! Been here for 4 years! I adapted
RecommendedI’ve been living here for 10 months and have had no major problems. The people in the leasing office are very helpful, maintenance responds so quickly and always fixes our problems the first time, and the access to the commuter rail is so convenient. Have enjoyed my experience so far.
Do not rent from this place! None of the rules are enforced by management. Rude residents take up handicapped parking spots with no regard for other residents or guests that may need them and the management staff do nothing about it. Trash is routinely left in the hallways for days before being cleaned up and my entire building smelled like weed all the time. RecommendedI loved living there was quiet and clean the only reason I move was because they raise My rent, but if I could have a good deal I move back in a hot second
