The stylist there had an understandable family emergency the morning of my appointment and had to cancel on me, so I started calling local salons hoping someone, anyone could fit me in. Courtney had time that day just a couple hours later, and I'm so glad she did! Finding the right hair salon is hard--or at least, it always has been for me--but without any doubt in my mind, 1213 Hair Studio is the best salon I've ever visited (in Richmond, Virginia or elsewhere). The warmth, professionalism, and skill of Kelly and her team shines through everything, and, man, do I love my hair when I walk out of their door.
This place is a total rip off! I made an appointment for today Wednesday February 6 at 2 pm!! I call to cancel my appointment because my son woke up with a high fever and while I am trying to keep his temperature down and taking him to the pediatrician she went ahead at 10:40 am and charge the amount for the entire service which was 210 dollars to my credit card. Melanie is amazing! I used to see her at my New Jersey hair salon, but she recently moved here in Virginia. I miss her dearly! I still haven’t found stylist as good.
