I have to apologize for the incorrect review below. I did not realize that Dr. Trumpati did send the pharmacy the necessary information for the medication to wean off the medication. Dr. did the right thing, apparently the meds were having an adverse effect on me and did not realize it. I hope in time when I get medically cleared, doctor will accept me back and we can go a different route with a medication that will be beneficial for me. I was sent home from the program today and told I needed to take a break from the medications. No more controlled substances. When I went home and did some research on the Internet about these medications, it states that you cannot stop these drugs “cold turkey’” because it could cause seizures. I understand you also mentioned that to my daughter. You stated that you have to be weaned off the meds slowly. I started with the program in mid-August, it is three month's now and have lost a little over 25 lbs. I go every two weeks to see the doctor and look forward to it. I have passed the half way mark and have 22 to go and hope to reach the goal the doctor set for me by January / February. I am very happy I started the program and really like the doctor and staff.
