Scheduled an overdue Dermatology appointment for myself with Julianne Brower PA-C. She helped successfully diagnose my skin concern, answered all of my questions in an informative/clear way, and gave me some free skincare samples to aid in my healing. I came in for a panic attack and I gave them my insurance information. They said nothing about my insurance not being in network and when I left, they said I had no co-pay so I just assumed that my insurance covered my visit then about a month later, I get a bill for $263 saying that my insurance was not in network so basically I paid $263 to get my blood pressure taken and be prescribed a medication that I never even picked up because it was the wrong kind of medication. Clinic was closed, even when their own website said it was open. Nobody picking up the phone. Tried another zoomcare that was supposed to be open and it was also closed (despite what their own website said, not to mention google maps). It's a good thing this wasn't more of an emergency!
On two different occasions I’ve had a poor experience here. Both times more from the lacking comms and service in the app and sms than the in-person. Once they canceled my appointment without telling me, so I showed up needing an easy prescription to discover I wasn’t even getting to see a doctor. Another time (today), I have been waiting for over an hour. At first, when I asked for more information, or to see how much longer they expect the delay to be, they acted like I was being unreasonable. After a conversation it was a... read more
