I got ripped off by Zoom auto sales on E 14th. Looking at the place I should have known better but I still let them take me for a ride... I bought a 2012 Equinox in March 2023. Something started banging in the back passenger side the first day. I took it back and they lied and said it was a swaybar link and they fixed it. Absolutely horrible! They sold a vehicle to a family member that legally should have had a salvage title due to the damage under the vehicle. This family member was pregnant at the time and now has a newborn along with another family member that has cancer. The frame of the car is literally falling apart with all the rust damage. After my family members demanded that zoom make it right, they took the car back with the promise of either fixing the car or getting another one for them. Bought a car and with in minutes the car broke down. They claimed for weeks the car was getting fixed. The car never even made it to the shop. The bank forced them to buy the car back and return my down payment. I still have not received my down payment back! The Iowa attorney general and I have a claim on their insurance bond for my down payment. The owner is also currently being charged with forgery for signing my name on the title.
